Benjamin’s Path to World British Functional Fitness (BFF) Success!

Benjamin, a 15-year-old student at Garforth Academy, recently had the incredible opportunity to compete on the world stage at the World BFF Championships in Budapest. Having taken up CrossFit just 18 months ago as an alternative to gymnastics, which he had practised since the age of 4, Benjamin has quickly excelled in the sport.

Training regularly at his local CrossFit gym in Pontefract, Benjamin performed exceptionally well at the BFF competition, earning a place to represent the UK in the 15-16 male category. In Budapest, he finished 14th overall in his age group and contributed to the UK junior squad’s achievement as the best-performing country.

Benjamin received £500 from Delta Academies Charitable Trust to help cover the costs of entry fees, kit, travel, and accommodation, making this amazing experience possible.
